BOOKING POLICY

Thank you for choosing Captured by Lindsay. To ensure a smooth and professional experience for all clients, please review the booking policies below. By scheduling a session, you agree to the following terms:


BOOKING & PAYMENT
  • A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to secure your session date and time.
  • Session dates are not held without payment of the retainer.
  • The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your session, unless otherwise stated in the contract.


ADDITIONAL PEOPLE & UNDISCLOSED GUESTS
  • Your session is booked based on the number of people disclosed at the time of booking.
  • If additional individuals arrive without prior notice, there will be a $10 fee per extra person, which must be paid before your final gallery is delivered.


CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
  • Retainers are non-refundable
  • Clients may reschedule once with a 48 hours' notice.
  • Sessions rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice may require a new retainer.
  • No-call / no-show appointments will forfeit the retainer and require a new booking.


TARDINESS
  • Please arrive on time.
  • Sessions will end at the originally scheduled time, regardless of late arrival.
  • If you are move than 15 minutes late, your session may be cancelled or shortened, and the retainer will be forfeited.


WEATHER POLICY (FOR OUTDOOR SESSIONS)
  • In the event of severe weather, I will contact you regarding rescheduling.
  • Light rain, overcast skies, or wind do not automatically qualify for rescheduling unless it impact safety or image quality.
  • Final decisions will be made by the photographer


IMAGE DELIVERY
  • Galleries are delivered digitally within the timeframe stated at your session.
  • Each gallery includes a specific number of edited images based on the package purchased photos.
  • Filters or heavy alterations are not permitted, as they misrepresent the work.
  • Additional images may be available for purchase.
  • Galleries must be downloaded before the expiration date. Expired galleries WILL require a re-upload fee of $25.00.


SOCIAL MEDIA USAGE & CREDIT REQUIREMENT
  • Clients may share their images on social media; however, photographer credit ("Captured by Lindsay") is required on all posted photos.
  • Filters or heavy alterations are not permitted, as they misrepresent the work.


COPYRIGHT & USAGE
  • All images are protected under U.S. copyright law.
  • Captured by Lindsay retains all rights to the images.
  • Clients receive personal use rights only.
  • Images may not be sold, edited, or used commercially without written permission from Lindsay Massey.


PHOTOGRAPHER RIGHTS
  • The photographer reserves the right to refuse service for safety concerns, inappropriate behavior, or violation of policies.
  • The photographer may use images for portfolio, website, and promotional purposes unless a written agreement states otherwise.
  • Clients who do NOT want their images used for any promotional purposes, may request full privacy for an additional $50 privacy fee, which must paid before the gallery is delivered.
